Many**<br>**free roaming dogs have been treated for**<br>**illnesses and injury. We have rehomed a**<br>**number of dogs to responsible owners**<br>**providing support and education regarding**<br>**appropriate care of animals. Ongoing**<br>**support and aftercare is offered to all**<br>**rehomed dogs.**<br>**The dogs in the Municipal Kennels are now**<br>**treated monthly for parasite prevention all**<br>**are now neutered and we are improving the**<br>**living conditions and dietary needs. We**<br>**continue this work along with finding**<br>**responsible ownership. An outside exercise**<br>**area has now been completed and the**<br>**charity has provided shading from the**<br>**constant sunshine.**|

All dogs were micro**<br>**chipped, treated for parasites and**<br>**treated by the vets where needed.   We**<br>**also assisted in 2 further campaigns in**<br>**which over 400 dogs being neutered,**<br>**micro chipped and treated.**<br>**This will reduce the number of**<br>**unwanted puppies being born and**<br>**further increasing the already massive**<br>**population of free roaming dogs on the**<br>**Island of Sal.**<br>**This not only benefits the dog**<br>**population that are already**<br>**malnourished and suffering but also the**<br>**public from the dangers of being bitten**<br>**by dogs gathering in packs looking for**<br>**food and fighting over un neutered**<br>**females. Less dogs also decreases the**<br>**amount of dog fouling in public places.**<br>**In the Municipal Kennels dogs now are**<br>**fed staple diets and are free from**<br>**infestation of ticks and disease and**<br>**starvation. Their living conditions have**<br>**vastly improved and there is now an**<br>**outside exercise area.**<br>**The kennels are now not only a better**<br>**place for the dogs but also for the**<br>**employers to work. This need to be**<br>**worked on for the future now.**<br>**We have struck up a good relationship**<br>**with the Camara Municipal on the Island**<br>**who now accept us and the Charity**<br>**work we provide.**|

for the preparation of accounls and that an independent examination of the accounts is required.

BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of

disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the ¢vid¢nc¢ that would be required in ai) audit and

report is limited to those matters set out in Ihe statement below.
