The objects of the CIO are: 

For the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of financial hardship in Pakistan by providing financial support and **Summary of the objects of the** assistance for funerals and burial costs. **charity set out in its governing document** The prevention or relief of poverty in Pakistan in particular but not exclusively by, providing or assisting in the provision of; clean water supply, food, clothing, medical care, equipment for disabled people, education for orphans. In setting our objectives and planning our activities our trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. Since its beginning, Al-Qiyas Welfare has been supporting families who have lost loved ones in arranging funerals and burial. This year again, we have provided financial help to families in need and provided essential packs with necessary items including the shroud (kafan) for burial according to Islamic tradition. Just like previous years, this year again Al-Qiyas Welfare provided monthly food packs to those in need throughout the year. In particular, food packs were distributed to families in the Islamic **Summary of the main** month of Ramadan. The residents included old people and those with disabilities or learning difficulties who have no loved ones or anyone to care for them. This Eid al-Adha 2022 Qurbani meat was distributed to over 300 families in Jhelum, Pakistan.

Also, this year, Al-Qiyas Welfare helped provide medication to patients suffering from cancer.
