The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for participation in wheelchair rugby.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
The team has worked hard over this time. Due to the pandemic the governing body of the wheelchair rugby GBWR cancelled training and game play for a period of time, so to keep people fit, a mobility cycle club was born which is still going we have lots of people joining us out cycling. Once we could open up for wheelchair rugby training we have facilitated an outreach program to Taunton, Barnstable, Plymouth and Cornwall to get veterans and their dependents involved. This was a huge success.
With help from the Veterans Foundation, we have secured 6 ruby chairs, a trailer, tow bar and sports equipment. This has allowed Team Endeavour to expand and has resulted in new members joining the club.
The club is open to Veterans, their dependents and we are now inviting members of the public to join the club, this has been successful. We have followed the guidance issued by the charity commission on public benefit.
