The trustees and committee have regard to

in accordan￿ with the general committee of
the So¢tety to ensure that the level of fees
issued are rArefully realtsed to provide
accessibiltty of participation for all including
those from a low-income background. The
fees that are requested are still under the
threshold of what other Amateur Theatre

undertaken by trustees and committee 2021
and 2022) and are inclusive of all particulars
being undertaken within a given activty, for

The main achievements of the Charrty have
been to provide community members with an
opportunity to partake in perfoming arts
related events to live aUd￿n￿S throughout
the borough of Bury. We have achieved our
goal of increasing participation through
increasing the opportunities that we have
provided for our members, for example, we
have moved from one musical production on
a yearly basi5 to three productions a year.
Two of these productions take the shape of
plays, vthich provide a different platfomi of
approach within the perfomiing arts sector.
WFlhin the play section we have strived to
provide opportuntti'es for those vtho have
interests in the medium of ading through
scrtpt and text. This has given members of
the communty an increased opportunity to
upskill themselves through the engagement
of genre. style and language. It has also
given the Gommunity an opporbjnrty to view
theatre work that is a¢￿SSIble to them within
their area of residence. therefore reduang
their travel time and expenditure.
We have also increased our awareness and
uptake of those wishing to take a non-

opportun"rties for backstage, wardrobe.

professional setting. The Met Bury has had a
signfficant benefrt on our members
understanding of context and content
regarding production and has also gained
Creden￿ from members of our community in
resp￿￿ of our members commitment and
contribution to our productions.
In December 2023, we held our annual
Christmas Concert at All Saints House, over
a duration of two evenings, our members
sang and acted thiough various festive
songs and plays. One of our members was
given an opportunity to showose their
writing talents during this Gon￿rt, which was
well re￿ived, on both evenings by a
