Introduction:
Benny Love Foundation is a charitable organization committed to making a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged and neglected individuals in the villages in Ghana. Despite facing challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and limited access to banking services, we have been dedicated to fulfilling our mission of aiding those in need. We are pleased to submit this annual report for Benny Love Foundation, and we are grateful for your support in advancing our cause in helping the needy
Activities during the Pandemic:
Due to the pandemic, we faced difficulties in opening a bank account for Benny Love Foundation as there were no available appointments. However, during this time, we utilized our resources to make a meaningful impact. We travelled to Ghana and spent almost two years there with the purpose of acquiring lease for a land for seven years of which we ventured into agriculture establishing a cassava and plantain farm to generate funds for our charity initiatives. Plantain tropical fruits related to bananas they are eaten boiled, fried, grilled, or steamed. This initiative aligns with our long-term sustainability plan and will provide a stable source of income for our foundation to be able to keep helping the poor neglected folks in the village.
Financial Summary:
As of 1st October 2020 to 31 July 2021, we had a total of 3000 Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) in hand. We generated additional funds through sales from the Benny Love Foundation shop in Ghana, amounting to 2500 GHS, and received generous donations from the community for the people in the village, this totalled to 2000 GHS. Our trustees also contributed 6000 GHS. These funds were utilized to purchase food items, which were distributed to the underprivileged poor members in the village during the year and especially on a large scale on Christmas season, bringing joy and relief to poor.

Fundraising Efforts:
We conducted fundraising efforts in local churches in Ghana, which resulted in the collection of 4000 GHS. Additionally, we generated revenue through sales from our charity shop, amounting to 5000 GHS. These funds will be instrumental in supporting our ongoing initiatives and expanding our outreach to more people who are also in dire need of help.No funds have been generated in the UK as we do not yet have a bank account.
Impact on the Village:
Benny Love Foundation remains committed to supporting individuals in need in Ghana. We have been aiding three individuals in Asankagwa, including a physically challenged individual who requires a wheelchair and monthly financial support monthly, an elderly widow with six grandchildren who struggle with mental illness, and an elderly woman with a broken leg who lost all her children they also receive monthly funds and provisions. Additionally, we are providing financial assistance and crutches to a 90-year-old man in Akwatiakrom, who takes care of his autistic daughter, they also receive monthly funds. All the individuals we help are extremely poor, sick, homeless and unable to afford food, medication and shelter with no family support. Moreover, we are covering the medical bills of a lady in Apatrapa who needs monthly medication for HIV but is unable to afford her medications and upkeep so Benny Love provides for her upkeep and medication bills monthly.
Future Plans:
As we move forward, our agenda is to open a bank account in UK for Benny Love Foundation to ensure efficient management of funds and transparency in our financial transactions. We also plan to continue our efforts in fundraising, expanding our charity shop, and utilizing our farm to generate sustainable income for our foundation as we are running out of funds and provisions and support required to keep moving forward with our agenda. Our goal is to continue making a positive impact in the lives of the underprivileged poor neglected folks in Ghana and contribute to the betterment for the poor people in the village who have not yet been reached by Benny Love Foundation.
Conclusion:
We have been actively engaged in fulfilling our mission and improving the lives of poor and neglected individuals in need.
Sincerely, Benedicta Afrifa Sarpong Annual Report Benny Love Foundation
