**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ISTO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM IN BECCLES FOR THE COLLECTION AND EXHIBITION OF SPECIMENS OF FINE AND USEFUL ARTS, ETHNOLOGY, ARCHAEOLOGY, GEOLOGY, BOTANY AND NATURAL HISTORY, SOCIAL HISTORY AND LOCAL INDUSTRY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.

**Activities:** The purpose of the charity is to provide a museum showing the history of Beccles and the surrounding district. Occasional special exhibitions are organised. The museum is open to the public from April to the end of October
