Section D Achievements and performance

ACHIEVEMENTS Summary of the main Continued fundraising post Covid has proved difficult, especially with the cost achievements of the charity of living crisis but sales of rescue calendars, bespoke mugs and Christmas cards during the year has gone very well. We have also sourced bespoke bandanas and bow ties for dogs which is made by a small UK business. Our justgiving page has continued to raise money via the rescue website from unknown donors. Bearing in mind that we were still in the middle of Covid, a wonderful 41 dogs were rehomed during 2022. We continuedwith virtual homechecks by our volunteers and rehomed in accordance with the current Covid regulations, which sometimes proved very interesting. We took on a few strays whose owners could not be traced over this year, one of which was pregnant and then unfortunately lost the litter. Another that really suffered with separation anxiety and her new owner has worked very hard for her to be able to live in a house. We have taken a few retiring breeding bitches, one of which had a condition called megaoesophagus. We have covered medical costs for all these deserving cases, which is a huge undertaking for such a small and relatively new Charity. Four Paws – A massive thanks to Siobhan and her team for their continued and ongoing support. A thank you to our adopters for loving our dogs and also to the families who have returned and adopted another from us.
