1. Accrington Lions Club.
1.1 Legal Status:
The Club is governed by its cons@tu@on and is under the jurisdic@on of The Interna@onal Associa@on of Lions Clubs, Oak Brook, Illinois, USA. The Charity Incorporated Organisa@on was registered on the 25th of September 2020 under registra@on number 1191479. The Trustees may invest any monies required to be invested in or upon the security of such stocks, funds, shares, securi@es, or other investments for the @me being authorised by law for the investment of trust monies with power to the trustees to vary such investments for others of a like nature
1.2 Charity Trust Fund:
The prime func@on of the Charity Trust Fund has been to receive dona@ons raised by the club and to distribute the income to various beneficiaries. Details of receipts, from contribu@ons, fees and other sources, and payments are given in Appendix A1 that accompanies this report.
1.3 Administra>on/General Account:
The prime func@on of the Administra@on Account is to collect member's dues and forward them to the respec@ve recipients, they are being Lions Clubs Interna@onal, Lions Clubs Interna@onal MD105 and Lions Clubs Interna@onal District 105CN. Details of receipts, from contribu@ons, fees and other sources, and payments are given in Appendix A2 that accompanies this report. It is emphasised that this account is not supported by any funds raised from the public, all income raised by Lions Clubs by public contribu@on is, subject only to the costs of organising and administra@ng the event, used for charity work and charitable causes.

2.1 Accoun>ng Policies:
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Prac@ce (SORP) Accoun@ng by Chari@es, 2005.
