Apart fron] the first Charity Trustees. every Trustee must be appointed for a temi of three years by a resolution pas%ed at

reappointment.
TTUStees devote their time voluntarily. When appointing Trustees, emphasis 18 placed on the diversity of skn.lls and
knowledge Currently required to be effective. New Ttusiees are considered and qelected for their skills, knowledge and
experience given the operaiional climate and needs of the Charity.

The object of the Cbaiity IS to advance the education of the public and to promote the public appreciation of arts, culture
and heritage with particular reference but not limited to carnival and participatory arts mainly in the North Easi of
England by
Promoting public knowledge and awareness of the roles played by arts culture and heritage with panicular
reference to carnival and participatory arts in the past, present and future of the North-Easi Region.
Providing training via carnival clubs in specific 5ki11s relating to carnival afts.
Providing opporn]nities for local people to panicipaie in ans. culwral and her2tage activities through invtslvement
in preparation for and perfom)ance of camivals, street parades, open air perforn)ance and other public events.
Promoting carnival ans and other participatory arts.

We review our aim%. objectives and activities each year. This review looks at what we have achieved and the outcomes
of our work in the previous 12 months. The review looks at the suc¢ess of each key activity and the benefits that they
have brought io those groups of people we are set up to help.
Tbe review also helps us to ensure that our aims, objectives and a¢tivities have remained focused on our slated purposes.
We have referred to guidance contained in ihe Charity's Commission's general guidance on public benefit when
reviewing our aims and objeciives and in planning our future activities. In particular, the tnLStees consider how planned
activiiies will contribuie 10 the aims and objectives they have set.

The Foeus of Omr Work
During ihe year, Salto Arts Productions continued to promote its four main objectives by hosting the Whitley Bay
Carnival in May 2025 and the Mouth Of The Tyne Festival in July 2025.

Salto Arts Productions continues to maintain and further develop its excellent reputation as pmviders of carnivals and
woriL8hop%. The Trustee% are 8atl8fied with what the Charity has achieved during the year.

The charity. with the aid of sound financial maDagement, reports net expendituie of £4,836 for ihe year.

Under ihe Memorandum and Articles of Association. the charity bas the power to inve8t how the tru5tee5 wish.

At the end of Ihe yeai total cash re5ervts of the ChaTity atnounted to £2,396 which were all unrestricted. New dotJor5 are
actively being sought to guarantee fLmditig that will sustain tbe Cbarity's planned expendiwre for the foreseeable fubjre.

The Charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements. The Chariry's Trustees consider
that an audit is not required for this year under section 144{2} of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an
