Purposes and Aim

The aim of the Charitable Trust are:

Ensuring our work delivers our aims

Each year, we conduct a comprehensive review of our activities. This review assesses our achievements and the outcomes of our work over the past 12 months. It evaluates the success of each key activity and the benefits they have provided to the groups we aim to support. This process ensures that our aims, objectives, and activities remain aligned with our stated purposes. We refer to the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our aims and objectives and planning future activities. In particular, the trustees consider how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have established.

Achievements and Performance

Our main objectives for the year continued to be the work towards the advancement of Rajasthani traditions and values.

To achieve our objectives, we implemented the following strategies:

  2. Emphasized the benefits of positive mental health by encouraging societal engagement and cultural understanding, benefiting not only individuals but also their families, friends, and the broader community.

  3. Provided cultural education to children to enhance their awareness of their heritage.

  4. Collaborated with other charities to expand our reach and presence.

Your unwavering efforts on our behalf are deeply appreciated. Special thanks to those who assisted with understanding RAUK’s accounts and finances, media communications including social media, outreach, and decorations, all of which have been instrumental in keeping RAUK running smoothly.

Financial Review

Cash at bank at Virgin Money was £13,619.36 in unrestricted funds. The main financial risk to the charity is loss of funding from the Council and reduced donations. The funds are held to cover 4 months operational costs in the event of a loss of income and to meet any unforeseen expenditure that may occur.

Our main source of funds this year has been donations and event tickets price for the guests in the different events and programmes.

The detailed Financial Statement and detailed financial review is attached as a separate report.
