**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF PORTFIELD SCHOOL, HAVERFORDWEST IN THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKESHIRE (“THE SCHOOL) BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY) AND AS ANCILLARY THERETO AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE CIO MAY:- 3.1 FOSTER MORE EXTENDED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; 3.2 ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS ATTENDING THE SCHOOL. NOTHING IN THE CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
