## **ANNUAL TRUSTEES REPORT – YEAR ENDING 2023** 

The Board of Trustees of the Bengal Heritage Foundation presents the following report for the year 2023 (Jan-Dec 20223). 

In 2022 the Trustees established the processes and procedures under which the CIO will operate. These boundary conditions and principles will drive the activities of the CIO. 

To this end, the first step was to establish a separate Bank Account for Bengal Heritage Foundation. We successfully completed the set up towards the end of 2022. 

For the year 2023, the Trustees established some very important strategic relationships with the High Commission of India in UK and the High Commission of Bangladesh in UK. The Trustees participated in celebrating key events at the High Commission. The trustees also established strong relationships with British Council on framing our future programmes. 

The trustees also partnered and collaborated in events around the society alongside likeminded, sister charities. 

In the AGM conducted on 19[th] November, there was  resolution put up to all members. 

RESOLUTION : To change the Association model to Foundation model for CIO. Remaining all parameters remains the same. 

The change was proposed to keep a continuation of the relationships established at a strategic level with several CEOs, High Commissions etc. A continuous change of Trustees over next 3-6 year horizon will not have the level of continuity. 

The resolution was passed by ALL members without any opposition. 

The new Member of trustees are now as follows

Two existing and original trustees Mr Dipanjan Majumder and Mrs Pritha Mukherjee decided to resign from the board of trustees. The board thanks both of them for their tremendous support and help in establishing the organization. We look forward for a safe world and a better connectivity with far more actions in the future.
