## **ANNUAL TRUSTEES REPORT – YEAR ENDING 2021** 

The Board of Trustees of the Bengal Heritage Foundation presents the following report for the year 2021 (Jan-Dec 2021). 

We established our CIO in midst of the most challenging year in recent memory. Covid 19 has had serious impact on our lives, our operations, funding and operations. Our primary objective in 2021 was to look after each other, well being and mental safety of all trustees and their families , support each other through a very difficult phase of everyone’s lives. 

Due to the above we have had very limited activity for 2021 , restricted ourselves to virtual Trustee meetings and framed the overall governance , policies and structure under which we will embark our journey in 2022 onwards. Whilst doing this we also successfully supported our strategic partners and collaborators wherever possible through safe and secured programmes mostly virtual but few in person. 

We will create elaborate framework, due diligence and management process with full transparency around finances using automated accounting software programme which has been put in place. 

We look forward for a safe world and a better connectivity with far more actions from 2022 onwards.
