A4C supports sustainable projects and raises money for charities involved in improving the living standards of children in developing countries. The foundation is a private initiative of a number of professionals from the investment industry.

Objects: To Advance Education, To Relieve Financial Hardship And To Preserve And Protect The Good Health Of Children In Developing Countries, As Well As The Netherlands And United Kingdom By­:- - Providing Support For Sustainable Projects Which Focus On The Following Key Areas: Education; Healthcare; Hygiene And Clean Water; Housing And Family Support;- Promoting Self-Sufficiency And Entrepreneurial Values In The Local Communities Where Our Projects Are Based;- Involving Parents, Teachers And Members Of The Local Communities In The Projects We Support; And- Providing Funding For Our Affiliated Dutch Charitable Foundation Alternatives 4 Children, Which Will Administer The Grants For The Projects. [Nothing In The Articles Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Charity For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland)act 2005 And/or Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.].
