**Overview**
13th April, no alternative but to move one field to a smaller field due to £400 rent
increase to keep both. GRIPPOL kindly donated 16 men and women, transport
and equipment for 2 days to help removal.
We built an office for volunteers and renovated 2 stables for the permanent
residents,
including one that is blind. A fantastic job was done by all. Unfortunately this field
holds water and is no good in winter. Plan ‘B’ to start in August 2023. Will cover
later.

Currently we have 11 ponies in care:
6 looking for homes
5 in permanent care due to illnesses
September was a bad month as 6 ponies previously on loan, returned 4 of which we
managed to find homes. All the ponies in our care have regular farrier, vets, dentist
and want for nothing, all health issues are dealt with speedily.

**Ponies on Loan**
55 successfully out on loan. 3 out of 4 of them are enjoying winning show jumping
events and dressage. All want for nothing with current owners. The more out on
loan enables us at TAK to take on further rescues if needed.|**Attendees**:

|6.||**Fundraising**
We currently have TAK Charity Shop which covers the rent of the field monthly a
the rent of the shop.
TAK also runs fun days and table top sales monthly throughout summer. Our la
one will be November. We also do our pony lottery monthly.
Two donations have been given this year, one for £4,000.00 from Jean Sainsbur
and the other for £1,750.00 from the Freemasons.
Also received £1,500.00 in September from Paws, locally paid directly to the vet
Hurd & Partners. This will go to tetnas and flea jabs.||

Mick King joined the meeting to review the accounts regarding profit and loss.

Accounts are good. Small loss over the year. All solvent. Mick leaves the
meeting.||
|8.||**Plans for Next 12 Months**
Mid October – blind Billy, Summer and Paddy will be moved up to winter paddoc
This enables the fields to rest for Spring. Blind Billy will move into his new stable
for a king. This will do his wellbeing good as he will be in close proximity of the
other horses. It’s been a long hard year and without volunteers, past and presen
would
be even harder. All ponies are healthy and happy.||
|9.||**Any Other Business**
Janine thanked everyone who has donated, and continues to donate, to the welf
of the ponies and a big shout out to Harris Quarries for use of equipment and lab
of new stables. It has saved TAK a minimum of £1,500.00 which will go to winte
food.
Janine is hoping to publish an annual calendar.
Hird and Partners have given TAK a 10% discount on all vet bills.
Phil Hague commented on Janine’s dedication to all the ponies needs||
