## **Todwick & Kiveton Rescue & Rehoming (TAK) Annual General Meeting Wednesday 4[th] October 2023 Meeting opened at 11am by Janine Cope**

GRIPPOL kindly donated 16 men and women, transport<br>and equipment for 2 days to help removal.<br>We built an office for volunteers and renovated 2 stables for the permanent<br>residents,<br>including one that is blind.  A fantastic job was done by all.  Unfortunately this field<br>holds water and is no good in winter.  Plan ‘B’ to start in August 2023. All the ponies in our care have regular farrier, vets, dentist<br>and want for nothing, all health issues are dealt with speedily.<br>5.<br>**Ponies on Loan**<br>55 successfully out on loan.  3 out of 4 of them are enjoying winning show jumping<br>events and dressage.  All want for nothing with current owners. |6.||**Fundraising**<br>We currently have TAK Charity Shop which covers the rent of the field monthly a<br>the rent of the shop.<br>TAK also runs fun days and table top sales monthly throughout summer.  Our la<br>one will be November.  We also do our pony lottery monthly.<br>Two donations have been given this year, one for £4,000.00 from Jean Sainsbur<br>and the other for £1,750.00 from the Freemasons.<br>Also received £1,500.00 in September from Paws, locally paid directly to the vet<br>Hurd & Partners.  This will go to tetnas and flea jabs.||
|7.||**11:20am– Mick King joined the meeting**<br>Mick King joined the meeting to review the accounts regarding profit and loss.<br>**_Gross profit_**: 2023     £6,691.00<br>2022     £12,436.00<br>**_Loss/profit:_**2023     £5,656.00<br>2022     £558.00<br>Accounts are good.  Small loss over the year.  All solvent.  Mick leaves the<br>meeting.||
|8.||**Plans for Next 12 Months**<br>Mid October – blind Billy, Summer and Paddy will be moved up to winter paddoc<br>This enables the fields to rest for Spring.  Blind Billy will move into his new stable<br>for a king.  This will do his wellbeing good as he will be in close proximity of the<br>other horses.  It’s been a long hard year and without volunteers, past and presen<br>would<br>be even harder.  All ponies are healthy and happy.||
|9.||**Any Other Business**<br>Janine thanked everyone who has donated, and continues to donate, to the welf<br>of the ponies and a big shout out to Harris Quarries for use of equipment and lab<br>of new stables.  It has saved TAK a minimum of £1,500.00 which will go to winte<br>food.<br>Janine is hoping to publish an annual calendar.<br>Hird and Partners have given TAK a 10% discount on all vet bills.<br>Phil Hague commented on Janine’s dedication to all the ponies needs||
