The Foundation has secured funding and grants to deliver community basketball coaching as part of its educational and social inclusion projects. The Foundation has provided bursaries to upskill and qualify members of the community to be able to coach, referee and officiate for the benefit of the sport. |

Achievements and Performance

The Foundation has worked with other agencies to deliver various community projects throughout Northamptonshire. The Foundation has delivered basketball into multiple schools to provide Basketball sessions for children aged 5 to 18 either in out of hours clubs, reaching in excess of 1000 participants. The Foundation has run numerous school holiday camps with events aimed at differing ability levels, including the first girls only camp. The Foundation has supported government funded community projects across the county, providing free access to basketball allowing children to get involved in the sport. The Foundation has operated community club sessions at numerous locations across Northamptonshire for participants of all ages, genders, ethnicities and socio economic backgrounds. The Foundation has reinvested funds to provide free school sessions into schools to an additional 1000+ participants. The Foundation has developed a thriving and positive partnership with Moulton College. As part of this partnership, we provide 3 coaches to support the Moulton Basketball Academy further enabling access to the sport. |
