Trustees’ Annual Report ROODEL TRUST FOUNDATION
For the Financial Year 2024–2025
This report has been prepared by the Board of Trustees of ROODEL TRUST FOUNDATION to present an overview of the charity’s position, activities, challenges, and future outlook for the financial year ended 2025.
Objectives and Activities
The charity was established to pursue its charitable objectives as set out in its governing document. These objectives remain unchanged and continue to guide the strategic direction of the charity.
During the reporting period, the charity did not undertake any formal charitable activities. This was primarily due to limited financial resources, which restricted the charity’s ability to implement planned programmes.
Activities Undertaken
Although no funded projects were delivered during the year, some limited charitable engagement occurred in Nigeria through volunteering services. These activities were informal in nature, unfunded, and carried out by individuals offering their time and skills independently in support of the charity’s ethos and values.
Public Benefit
The Trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. While no structured programmes were delivered during the year, the Trustees remain committed to ensuring that future activities will provide clear and demonstrable public benefit in line with the charity’s objectives.
Financial Review
The charity faced significant financial constraints throughout the year. The absence of sufficient funding meant that planned projects could not be implemented.
The Trustees recognise that securing sustainable funding is critical to the charity’s future operations and impact.
Challenges and Risks
The principal challenge faced during the year was the lack of funding, which remains the charity’s most significant operational risk. Without adequate financial support, the charity’s ability to deliver its objectives continues to be limited.
Plans for the Future
The Board of Trustees remains optimistic about the future of ROODEL TRUST FOUNDATION. The Trustees are actively exploring new and innovative approaches to fundraising, including partnerships, grants, and alternative income-generation strategies.
It is anticipated that once appropriate funding streams are secured, the charity will be able to implement its objectives effectively and expand its charitable impact.
Trustees’ Responsibilities
The Trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for ensuring that the charity is administered in accordance with its governing document and charity law.
This report was approved by the Board of Trustees and signed on their behalf.
