## Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

Our fundraising efforts brought in 14,204 GBP by the year end and we had laid good foundations to increase this amount at the beginning of the next financial year. During this year, we continued protection of the habitat in Tanzania and in Kenya – total of 10,000 acres through conservation land lease and ranger patrols.

We assisted with school fees through bursaries, school improvements with rainwater catchment systems, Grow House. Fed 1000 children a meal each day at schools in Northern Kenya and reduced human wildlife conflict through upkeeping predator proof cattle enclosures in Mara North Conservancy.

We continued to assist a ranger team collecting snares on the escarpment north of the Serengeti NP.

We supported a young Kenyan film maker in completing his final project for film school, a wildlife film about conserving snakes in East Africa. His film premier date is March 2025.

We supported the work of Mara Elephant project with direct donation.
