The Chapel remained closed during the reporting period as a
result of the Covid emergency. During this period, Revd Kirk
provided ministry to members of the congregation and the wider
community.

An unsuccessful Expression of Interest to the Heritage Lottery
Fund was submitted at the end of February 2021 for the
restoration and re-configuring of the building to enable an
Innovation Hub to be created.
•
Consultation with the local authority has been ongoing,
particularly in relation to the preparation of a bid to the Towns
Fund to secure funding for the restoration and re-configuring of
the building for the purpose of relieving poverty and providing
training and work space. To this end, the trustees have worked
closely with a consultancy company to provide a project brief to
enable an Innovation Hub to be created within the building.

The trustees agreed to extend the objects (see [c] above). The
additional object was approved at a General Meeting held on 31
March 2021 and subsequently approved by the Charity
Commission. The members will be asked to adopt the additional
object at the AGM in September 2021.

At the General Meeting held on 31 March two new trustees and a

September 2020 and 5 April 2021, the trustees met regularly to develop
the Innovation Hub project and prepare a Towns Fund bid.| ## **Section E Financial review** **Brief statement of the** FOC CIO has very limited financial resources and the charity’s long term **charity’s policy on reserves** financial situation remains unclear. At present we have no policy on reserves but expect that position to change when planned future development occurs.
