## **Report of the Trustees for the year ended 31 March 2022** 

The Friends of the John Fisher School Chapel (“Friends”) was established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation on 4[th] September 2020 as a successor to an entity with the same name which had formed part of the Golden Jubilee Appeal Fund of The John Fisher School. This fund ceased to be a registered charity at the end of 2019 and this gave rise to the creation of the new entity. 

The object of the new charity is to advance the education of the pupils at The  John  Fisher  School  by  providing  and  assisting  in  the  provision  of facilities particularly the chapel at The John Fisher School. 

The founding directors of the Friends, who were trustees of the former charity, are listed of page 1 of the Financial Statements. 

During the period, the trustees made an award of £10,000 to The John Fisher School to fund various educational projects. These were: 

The hosting of two Enhancement Days incorporating a range of talks and activities aiming to enhance the life skills and knowledge of every single student. The cost of these two days amounted to £7,000. A further £2,000 was allocated to the enhancement of the school library. The balance of £1,000 was used in support of the school’s relationship with Unicef.
