We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation managed by the trustees. We recruit trustees from the volunteers involved in the charity.
During the year we toured two productions: As You Like it and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Our objectives remain those as set out in our constitutional documents:
The Chilterns Theatre Company is committed to providing easy access to theatre and drama for a diverse range of participants and audiences. We produce largely small-scale productions specialising in tours in the Chilterns region. We take theatre productions of classics and more modern plays to venues that don't normally host theatre productions as well as using more conventional venues.
Our public benefit was to bring theatre to outdoor locations not normally served by theatre or drama productions at very low cost to audience members.
Our financial position remained broadly the same at the end of the year as it was in the beginning, with income being marginally lower than expenditure.
