Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be appointed by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. Selection of trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO. Any person retiring as a charity trustee is eligible for reappointment.

The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in India, East Africa and such other countries as the trustees from time to time determine, by supporting the provision of healthcare, education, training, housing as well as the provision of other support intended to help individuals generate a sustainable income and be or become selfsufficient.
2. The relief and assistance of people in India, East Africa and such other countries as the trustees from time to time determine affected by natural disaster, trouble or catastrophe through the provision of money or humanitarian and emergency aid.

The charity was dormant and as such did not conduct any activities during the year.
