Mission Statement
Malik and Mehboob Welfare is an international charitable organisation, driven by a single goal: doing its part in making the world a better place for all. Its decisionmaking process is informed by careful consideration and commitment to maximising impact for its beneficiaries. Malik and Mehboob Welfare continues to dedicate itself to projects in humanitarian aid, medical support, community development, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.
Activities
During the year ending 31 August 2024, no charitable activities were conducted. This reflects the continuing effect of prior commitments and a change in the focus of the trustees.
As a result, the charity did not generate or spend any funds during this financial period. There were no new programmes or relief projects initiated, and no significant expenditure was incurred.
The trustees acknowledge that this has been a year of reflection and consolidation, and remain committed to ensuring that resources are used appropriately and effectively in future years.
How We Work
The charity delivers its charitable aims in two ways:
-
Through direct delivery , particularly in relation to relief and welfare support in the UK and overseas; and
-
Through grant making , chiefly via partner organisations, to maximise reach and ensure resources are used effectively.
Partnerships remain a cornerstone of the charity’s approach, enabling the use of local knowledge and ensuring that interventions remain cost-effective, targeted, and responsive to real needs.
Plans for the Year Ahead
The trustees intend to dedicate the coming financial year to consultation, brainstorming, and scoping potential directions for the charity’s work . This will include:
-
Exploring and testing different areas where the charity can add value in line with its charitable objectives.
-
Identifying gaps in support and considering partnerships to help address these.
-
Reviewing sustainable approaches to fundraising and income generation.
-
Developing next steps and a clearer action plan to re-establish activity in the next financial period.
The trustees remain mindful of the responsibility to use the charity’s status and potential for maximum public benefit and are committed to building a pathway towards renewed charitable delivery.
Declaration
The trustees’ annual report has been approved by the trustees.
