Objectives of the Charity
The objects of Malik and Mehboob Welfare CIO are in the United Kingdom and throughout the world specifically restricted to:

The relief of financial need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies, organisations and/or countries affected.

The prevention or relief of poverty by providing grants to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

The relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people by providing grants to charities or other organisations which further this purpose for the public benefit.
Mission Statement
Malik and Mehboob Welfare is an international charitable organisation, driven by a single goal: doing its part in making the world a better place for all. Its decisionmaking process is informed by careful consideration and commitment to maximising impact for its beneficiaries. Malik and Mehboob Welfare continues to dedicate itself to projects in humanitarian aid, medical support, community development, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.
Activities
During the year under review, the charity’s activities slowed down considerably. This was largely due to prior commitments and a change in focus by the trustees, which meant that the charity did not actively pursue new fundraising activities or large-scale programmes.
The remaining funds available were directed toward relief purposes only, ensuring that essential support reached those in need. However, beyond these commitments, no significant projects were undertaken, and there was minimal expenditure or generation of new funds.
The trustees recognise the importance of this pause and are using the period of reduced activity to reflect, re-evaluate priorities, and ensure that future work is sustainable, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s founding objectives.
How We Work
The charity delivers its charitable aims in two ways:

Through direct delivery , particularly in relation to relief and welfare support in the UK and overseas; and
-
Through grant making , chiefly via partner organisations, to maximise reach and ensure resources are used effectively.
Partnerships remain a cornerstone of the charity’s approach, enabling the use of local knowledge and ensuring that interventions remain cost-effective, targeted, and responsive to real needs.
Plans for the Year Ahead
Looking forward, the trustees intend to spend the coming financial period scoping and formulating the charity’s future direction . This will involve:

Reviewing the charity’s capacity and resources to identify realistic areas of focus.

Exploring opportunities for sustainable, long-term programmes alongside short-term relief efforts.

Engaging with existing and potential partners to understand unmet needs and where the charity can add unique value.

Assessing new fundraising approaches to ensure financial stability and resilience for future operations.
The trustees are committed to ensuring that the next financial period serves as a foundation for renewed impact , with clearer priorities and more strategic delivery of charitable objectives.
