Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 This year the charity merged with its
founding sporting organisation ‘Junction
Elite football club’ and took management of
all its activities and administration. This
allowed for a greater push on the charitable
aspects of the clubs activities. The club has
continues to grow and this arrangement
has allowed activities to continue with more
opportunity for financial support to assist in
any cost subsiding efforts. As such, a large
number of young people have been able to
experience the benefits involved in the
organisations activities in line with its
charitable goals.
Additional information (optional)
You may choose to include further statements
where relevant about:
Achievements against
objectives set
Para 1.41 The objectives have been met in this
current year. However, there is always
room from growth in the scope of activities
provided, as well as the number of young
people benefitting from them
Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives
set
Para 1.41 Although greater financial support is
continuously needed, this year can be
classified as a financial success after being
able to continue running activities after the
merger for the increased number of
members involved in activities.
Investment performance
against objectives
Para 1.41 NA

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period

ensure financial stability. The organisation
continues to grow and as such needs to be
in a stronger financial position to match that
growth
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 The charity does not currently hold
reserves as it doesn’t have the finances to
spare, but will be looking to develop them
when possible
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 NA
Reasons for holding zero
reserves
Para 1.22 Financial position does not allow for holding
of reserves currently
Details of fund materially in
deficit
Para 1.24 NA

concern
Para 1.23 Greater financial development is desirable
