## **Achievements and Performance**

From our original intake in**<br>**2021 two students have graduated and**<br>**are fully employed. One further student**<br>**will graduate in December 2025 and**<br>**although a fourth student had to be**<br>**removed from the programme through**<br>**non-compliance he is still completing**<br>**his degree.**<br>**Two students are in the final year and**<br>**we took on two more students in June**<br>**2024, one is pursuing a degree in**<br>**Nursing and Midwifery and the other a**<br>**degree in Education.**<br>**In April 2024 we found a new residence**<br>**offering ample space for all of our**<br>**students.**<br>**At the current rate of funding there is**<br>**sufficient funding to support these**<br>**students to the end of each of their**<br>**programmes.**<br>**As all of these students were orphaned**<br>**and vulnerable the programme is truly**<br>**life changing for them.**|

This objective was**<br>**met as we gained enough funds for each**<br>**student to finish the programme.**<br>**(2) Having achieved our first objective**<br>**we then set a further objective of raising**<br>**funds to allow two new students to join**<br>**the programme in 2023 and again in**<br>**2024 and this has been achieved.**<br>**(3) A third objective was to raise**<br>**sufficient funds to allow New Routes**<br>**Foundation to continue employing local**<br>**Kenyan staff. This objective was met as**<br>**we gained enough unrestricted funds to**<br>**enable the employment of two local**<br>**Kenyan staff members.**<br>**(4) A fourth objective was to raise**<br>**sufficient unrestricted funds to provide**<br>**safe student accommodation for all of**<br>**the students. This has been achieved.**|
