Advice and Information
We provide a one-to-one service that helps benefit the community in various areas of advice and guidance. We offer professional support and advice; Housing, Benefits, Education, Employment, Discrimination, Family & Relationships, Consumer.
We offer a free, impartial service and provide the best advice and guidance to help support members of the community, our advice service is aimed at the LGBTQI+ community but we support all members of the Leeds community.
Our advisors use the outreach service to help provide this service.
Throughout COVID-19 we were restricted in the amount of advice we could provide due to the nature of volumes of the service users.
Our service saw more housing related issues during COVID-19 and understanding how to pay the bills without leaving them in financial debt.
Workshops
Throughout 2022 – 2023 we provided a workshop for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service, we were thoroughly vigilant in the training materials to make sure they were able to understand and comprehend the content. We have future plans to tutor teachers and
lecturers to help them understand their students and what they can do to help if any issues arise.
Group Sessions
Throughout 2022-2023 We have led various group sessions, but due to COVID-19 we believe the after affects are still present and some people are hesitant on meeting others. Our plan is to make sure that our group sessions more accessible for those that may not want to meet in person.
