**Objectives and Activities**
**To protect and safeguard the environment for the public benefit through the promotion and repair and reuse of products as a means of preventing and minimising waste disposal.**
**The organisation of 12 x 3- hour events related to repair and reuse annually. The launch of the café’s events was badly impacted by Covid and related safety rules with the result that the café only opened on 19 September. In the interim volunteers were able to execute small repairs from their homes.**
**Trustees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit.**
## **Achievements and Performance**
**Despite its inability to host events due to Covid, the Trustees marketing activities for the café ensured that it was made generally known, resulting in repair requests resulting in 13 repairs successfully carried out over the period.**
**The Trustees are pleased to report that the marketing endeavours resulted in the recruitment of 40 volunteers for the café’s events who are able to provide the skills required for the relevant repairs.**
