# Bishops Lydeard Mill and Rural Life Museum Charity Number: 1191078 The Mill House Mill Lane Bishops Lydeard Taunton TA4 3LN www.bishopslydeardmill.co.uk Trustees: Charlie Back MBE, Yvonne Back, Abigail Cook, Hannah Cook, Richard Cook, Richard Peacocke, and Martin Turner Annual Report The Museum has not been open since October 2019 due to the Corona Virus Pandemic. The premises have been maintained mainly by Charlie Back, a volunteer gardener has been helping with the grounds. New steps have been fitted to allow safe access to The Mill. Other maintenance work has been carried out as required. Inspections of fire extinguishers, alarm system and sprinklers have been carried out. All utility, insurance, rates bills have been paid for by Charlie Back. New displays are in the process of being built. The Museum continues to support: Cancer Research UK Sure (Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment) Macmillan Cancer Support St Margarets Somerset Hospice The Open Door (Taunton Churches Together charity for the Homeless) It is hoped that the Museum will be able to re-open in May 2022 with the above charities providing stewards.
