We received so
many great reviews and according to some of our
members, guest and well-wishers, this was one of our best
events yet. Attendance was high and we conducted a very
successful appeal & fund raising which was evident from
the amount of funds raised.
Thanks to all our members (active and non-active) and supporters for
your loyalty shown towards the organisation.
Regrettably, due to many issues with the pandemic including a halt in
events, fundraising was adversely affected. Consequently, we could not
support our school as much as we had planned. However, with the
success of our last thanksgiving service, we promised our guest and
supporters that funds raised will go directly to supporting our school.
We continued with our monthly meetings, virtually. Launching of our brand-new website: https://fssgexpupilsuk.com.

The biggest achievement this period was gaining a charity status from the charity commission.

Although organising profitable event was challenging due to the pandemic, we were able to raise some funds for future projects to support our school and students in Freetown:

- Moving the school from 2 shifts to one shift

- Provide new chairs and tables so that ALL students can be seated

- Renovate/refurbish classrooms and main school buildings

- Provide clean running water
