The object of the charity is to prornote social inclusion for the public benefit by working
ith the Tamil community who are socially excluded on the gmunds of their learning
disabilityldifficiilty, to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into
the Tamil society. in particular by . raising the Tamil community awareness of the issues
affeding people with learning disabilities I difficulties, b￿h g￿e[allY and in relation to
their social exclusion; providing W0￿$hOpS. forums, adV0￿cy and general support for
Tamil people with learning disabilities I difficulties, their families and carers. "Learning
disability- means any Developmental disability of the mind and any associated
condition howsoever caused and whdher mild. moderate or severe.
Achievement and Performance
Activities of the Charity were administratively strengthened dwing the year.
Funds materiall in deficit:
There were no issues resulting any financial constrains or leading to deficils during the
year.

1.1 Basis of Aetounting
The financial statements have been prepared under the historicaI cost convention and in
accordance with FRS102 - The Financial Reixrting standard appltcable in th¢ UK aiid
Republic of Ireland accounting standards. the statement of recommendfd practice"A¢wuntiJi8
and reporting by Charities" (SORP ) and the charities act 2011.
1.2 Incoming resourte5
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is
entitIed to the incomq and the amount can be qualified with reasonable a¢¢ura¢y. llie
following specific policies are applied io the catewies of incom¢
Voluntary income is received by way of donation and gift5. and which is included in full in the
statement of financial activities when receivable.
Donated services and facilities induded at the value to the chatity where this can be
qualified. The value of services provided by volunteers has not been included.
