2012 and operated from that tiN* urKfer the resFonsibility of Weymouth Baptlst Church. Once the separate charty was
registered. r8spon$ibility pa6sed to the Trustee body. On 27th OCto￿r 2020, the FLxxlbank fvnds held by Waymouth Baptist
Church were transferr&l Into the Charity.

We have seen the level of use of the Foodbank In￿#se 5ignifKanty ovw last yoar. Th8 0)staof4fv1ng crlsis has been wid81y
ported on and has significanlty impacted Weymouth F(￿nk. As well 8$ helpiNJ Ih05e in tomporary noed of help becauso
of an unexpected evenL we aro finding people are needing help on a longar twm basis. Many of our dlents a￿ on ben&fits,
which have not kept pace with rises in the cosl ol livirKJ. We are seeing many new ¢llents who have never visitèd a Foodbank

In 2023 we had 7,148 réferrab12022: 4.5471 compri$irvJ 2.106 familias. 1A25 couples and 3,617 singlès. This is an Incraasa
of 57% over Sasl year fdlowing 8 68,% increase in tha prw(xJ8 year. In total w¢ hel￿d 10,97312022: 6,790) adults and 3.183

We have also benefjtted from the p￿￿$10n by a I￿1 company crf a rem-free waretrMxts8 (we call it tha hub). All food i*)naled
by individuals and corporates is swt to the hub for ¢heckiThJ arvj storing. Food is supplied to the three satellites from here.
The warehouse ha$ allowed us to store ar￿ rotate the increased thl of food donated in a safe and ord¢rly way. It has also
allowed us to take delwery of bulk orde[5 froffl supplers to top up the donaied fcM)d.
We rety totslly on a team of around 1CiI volunteers as we h8ve no paMI slaff. These come wtm8rity from the churches in
W8ymouth.
W8 work Closely with other agendes i￿luding Citizens Advke. Thè ￿ntern. First Point and Chtslans Against Povtrrty.
These, and many other agenaes refer thwr clients to US lo fwd parcels. Where apwowiate wo rgfer our clients on to
them to receive the $p8ci81ist that they need to improve their situation.
