The Charitable purposes of charity are to provide life-altering programmes using professional sporting and music role models to deliver a range of engaging activities which incorporate team sports and creative arts. Each programme is designed to convey a range of positive health and lifestyle messages to educate young people within the local community and help them build a better future.

The Foundation strives to establish credible relationships with all young people including those at risk from gangs or domestic violence and assists them in facilitating a long-term outcome.

To further these purposes for the public benefit, we carried out activities including youth clubs, activity camps, training sessions, taster sports sessions and team activities. In addition, we provide meals and nutrition guidance to those most in need.

The main achievements of the year were to successfully attract and engage children of various ages to our events and programmes, and to build on the goals of the foundation. We aim to improve the wellbeing of these children both now and by giving them the tools for a better future.

The trustees have read the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance, and have had regard to this when running the charity.

In the financial year to 30[th] April 2023, the charity had an income of £72,559 and expenditure of £53,739.

Trustees of 5 On It Foundation 62 Moonstone House 304 South Row Milton Keynes MK9 2FR

Independent examiner’s report to the trustees of 5 On It Foundation

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the 5 On It Foundation (the Trust) for the year ended 30 April 2023.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner’s statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or

  2. The accounts do not accord with those records; or

  3. The accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Yours faithfully,

Bhavin Patel – FCCA, CTA
