## **Chairman Forward**
In the name of Allah, the gracious and most merciful, we are grateful to our lord for keeping the Masjid and our community safe throughout 2021-2022.
Masjid Abu Bakr took the step to move to a CIO type of governing setup. However, currently the old charity is still in existence and is in use. This is due to assets yet to move over to the new charity. Until this has been fully completed, this charity will remain dormant.
Due to it being dormant, we had oversighted the requirement for submitting an annual report. Hence, the report passed the deadline and we are now submitting this late.
We look forward to the coming year with all assets to be transferred over to the new charity and for the old charity to be closed pending on lead time.
