## Section D Achievements and performance

We have organised two important cultural events namely Diwali and **Summary of the main** Sankranti, two big festivals which bring people who speak Telugu to **achievements of the charity** come together and celebrate these events. These events acted as base **during the year** for people to interact, children to learn and understand the traditions of Telugu culture. This also acted as a platform for new people who have arrived in the UK, to develop relationships and make new friends among the community. There was lot of positive feedback from the attendees, good food, cultural music, dance and songs all made the vents very successful.

We wanted to start organising Telegu classes for children of the community but we could not find a suitable teacher this is something we will try and start in the coming years..

We managed to attract a number of new community members based on our past activities. We have more ambitious plans for the forthcoming years to expand and achieve our goals.
