Para 1.20 | During the reporting period Penguin Daycare continued to provide accessible local childcare and early years support for children and families in Buckley and the surrounding area. The charity supported children from age 2 through playgroup and day-care sessions and offered after-school care, helping parents and carers access flexible childcare. The provision helped children to develop socially, emotionally and educationally in a safe and caring environment, supported by qualified, DBS- checked and first-aid trained staff. The charity’s work also benefited the wider community by supporting families’ ability to work, train or manage caring responsibilities. |
