The foundation currently has one paid worker (through voluntary donation via. A sponsor) in Uganda (Fred Kayiira), Forever Foundation UK have provided an office and suitable vehicle for admin activities, and the distribution of food and materials. Regular contact (on a daily basis) is made with trustees, staff and sponsors utilising video calls, online meetings, Whatsapp messaging and Facebook updates Trustees must complete a selection process in order to join the foundation, this includes; - Interviewing - Basic background checks - Competencies/Skills - Availability ## **Activities & Objectives** The sole purpose of the charity is to find sponsors for the benefit of all vulnerable children in Uganda under the Forever Foundation UK umbrella, providing education, food, medical assistance, and improving living conditions. The main objective/target set in the last calendar year was to aim to provide mattresses for all children. ## **Achievements** FFUK are proud to have grown at a phenomenal rate. Having started out with 16 children under sponsorship, the charity now has over 100 children sponsored, has been involved in building projects, fresh water (well) initiatives and supporting children with their education and medical needs. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under Section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is required. Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to an audit and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to: - examine the accounts under Section 145 of the 2011 Act - to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under Section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act); and - to state whether particular matters have come to my attention ## **Basis of independent examiner’s report** My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items of disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters.
