All the trustees were part of the Braeburn family and each of them had previously sponsored students from their own pockets. This was how the charity was formed and those members became trustees

## **Section C                    Objectives and activities** 

We aim to offer high quality education to the most promising East African Students, whatever their socio-economic background from Year 9 or above, all the way to university. **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** We as a school have done a variety of different fundraisers with the prefect team to help raise money which is then used to sponsor the students. The majority of the fundraising has happened at Braeburn International School, Arusha. There hasn’t been any fundraising that has been done in the UK at the moment. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

Jackon is one of our achievements. He was sponsored through his sixth form at Braeburn. From there he took a gap year and saved for university. We continue to sponsor him through university and he is close to finally graduating.
