DEMHT cares for a collection of old historic medical equipment, books, photographs and ephemera in Exeter. We give exhibitions, talks, handling sessions to the public around Exeter and Devon. We provide training and other volunteer/internship opportunities in curating and research into the history of medicine and managing a museum collection.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is To Advance Education In The Subject Of The History And Development Of Medicine And Other Areas Of Health Care, In Such Ways As The Charity Trustees Think Fit, In Particular (but Not Exclusively) By The Establishment And Maintenance Of A Museum, And The Provision Of Other Exhibitions And Public Events.
