One £100<br>grant was awarded to a student enrolled on<br>the MSc Health Psychology course, at<br>Liverpool John Moores University. Her<br>project focused on the role of midwives in<br>managing medication misuse in pregnant<br>women. Misuse of medication during<br>pregnancy is especially problematic for<br>women at risk of gestational diabetes|





|||(GDM) (whose prevalence is higher in<br>ethnic minority groups). The project is due<br>for submission/assessment August through<br>September 2025 and is expected to benefit<br>our understanding of how best midwives<br>can manage medication misuse during<br>pregnancy (with direct implications for<br>ethnically diverse pops, especially those at<br>risk of GDM).<br>|
