Principal Activities

Activities and Achievements (In Year)

Over the past year, the charity has continued with holding it’s routine Sunday spiritual

empowerment services for the awakening of humanity to release our innate potentials. In-person activities were yet minimal, and we continued holding our services mostly online via zoom, Facebook and YouTube live. Though restrictions were relaxed compared to the previous year holding meetings and services online appeared undoubtedly the preferred meeting option. This development was also due to the knowledge that there now were international "members" who tuned in to our services online during lockdown and have maintained fellowship with us.

We however held our first in-person New Year’s Eve service after the COVID pandemic. Additionally, in March 2022, we collaborated with Powerhouse Ministries Cambridge in its support to the Cambridge University Ghanaian Society in the organisation of the 65th Independence Day celebration of Ghana at Wolfson College, Cambridge. Section of members of World Impact Faith International attended the event with Reverend Prince Osei-Gyamfi and Rev. Yaw Oppong-Druyeh (Both trustees), both presiding as panel members for the event.

Mid-week meditational services on Wednesdays that encourage introspection, self-determination and prayer for conflict areas in the world also continued virtually together with Monday morning meditation sessions. We held our first summer retreat after lockdown restrictions as well as Image Bearers Web-conference our annual Autumn conference for deeper spiritual studies and selfdiscovery.

Financial Review

The Charity which currently has an average UK membership of 20 people including children relies solely on the voluntary contributions from its members. We have a growing online/remote membership because of increasing our social media engagement due to COVID restrictions. It is our aim to expand by increasing our income for the future development work. The Charity has maintained a steady growth and continues to pursue its charitable objectives. Income Details:

The total income for the year was £425.

The total expenses for the year amounted to £437 resulting in a deficit of £12. These expenses were incurred in mainly carrying out administrative operations and the organization's charitable activities. The breakdown of expenses is as follows:

Expenditure:

Administrative Expenses (Including zoom subscription and stationery): £ 292 Welfare Support for persons in need: £ 75 Refreshment £ 70

Total £ 437

This deficit was primarily due to the increased costs associated with general administration. Voluntary contributions showed signs of picking up with relaxed restrictions. The organization aims to address this deficit by exploring alternative fundraising efforts and cost management strategies.

No fundraising event was held in year.

Structure. Governance and Management

The activities of Word Impact Faith International are overseen by the Leaders in accordance with the

provisions of its Structures and governance policy. All members in good standing have a stake in offering general guidance on the life and work of the Church. The Pastoral Board comprising the head and Associate Pastors, Secretary and 3 Departmental heads nominated by the members and endorsed by the Trustees administer the routine functions of the faith group. The Board serves for a term of 4 years with no limit on the number of consecutive terms of service. The members of the Elders’ Meeting are the trustees of the registered charity during their period of service as elders. The Pastoral Board met bimonthly during the year.

Risk Review

The trustees have reviewed the financial management policies and remain satisfied that risks involved are and undertaking a complete risk assessment of all activities of the company.

Conclusion

Despite facing financial challenges during the year, the charity continued to make significant impact in line with its objectives. The charity is grateful for the support received from volunteers, and all relevant stakeholders. In the coming year, the charity plans to focus on strengthening its fundraising efforts, exploring new grant opportunities, and implementing effective measures to ensure numerical growth, beneficial impact and financial stability.
