The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting. ## **OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES** The relief of sickness and the preservation of health of people suffering from blood cancer diseases by the provision of financial assistance for research into the causes and possible curers for such cancers. The Foundation's primary activity is to raise awareness and improve survival rates in the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. It achieves its aims by hosting a variety of fundraising events throughout the year and indeed through generous donations from the public and our partners. ## **FINANCIAL YEAR IN REVIEW** In summary, we are pleased to report encouraging signs of growth during this financial period, with COVID restrictions now lifted, we have continued to push our face-to-face fundraising by holding multiple in-person collections at local shopping centres and theme parks as well as online virtual events. We have also benefitted from the generosity of our supporters through online giving and sponsored events such as The Great South Run. In April, we introduced contactless donations at our fundraising events to allow prospective donors more choice in how they wish to donate money to our charity, this proved to be an extremely positive move and has seen donations increase considerably at public fundraisers, we would like to thank Trustee Nita Hyde for organising this. This growth has allowed us to continue to make substantial grants to medical researchers at the Southampton Centre For Cancer Immunology to undertake clinical cancer trials into the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and in this financial period we are pleased to report that we have granted in excess of £7,521.21 for research into the disease. The Trustees would like to extend their gratitude to our volunteers and everybody who has donated and supported us during this financial period. We would also like to extend a special thanks to the Directors of Paultons Park Limited who have once again gone above and beyond to support our cause.
