Future Academy UK furthers Its objects by providing financial support to enable volunteer teathers (from partner, UK-re8lStered charities) to deliver charitabbe artivities to refugee chIld￿n in the UK and overseas. AchSevements and Perfomiance In 2025, Future Academy UK supported volunteer teachers worklng with our slster charity, Future Academy, in Lebanon by contrlbuting towards their travel and IMn8 Costs. This enabled the delivery of conslstent, hlgh-quallty education within two refugee camps in Beinrt. Over the course of the year. volunteers supported more than I￿ ￿fugee thildren acmss 15S ieachlng days. Workin8 in close partnership with teachers from the local refu8ee communtty. they strengthened learning outcomes while building Socal capacty and fosterirE collaboration. Volunteers were responsible for delivering en8agin8 lessons In Engllsh language. dlgltal skllls, and functional numeracy - core skills that help children build confidence. improve school readiness. and prepare for future learning opportunities. Beyond the classroom, volunteers also or8antsed enrichment activlties desi8ned to broaden chIld￿n.5 experiences and aspirations. Includlng an Inspirin8 educatlonal visit to the MIM Museum. This visit was a first not onty for the students, but also for our local team of teachers. offerlng rare opportunity for shared leamin& exploratlon, and inspiration beyond the camp settin8. Volunteer teachers also organised birthday celebrations for students- simple but meaningful moments that played an important role in f05tering a sense of belonging and emotional wellbein8 Wlthin the learnin8 environment. By combining specialist skills. cultural exchange, and hands-on sUPPOrt. volunteer teachers helped create safe. stimulatin8 learnln8 environments where chiklren could learn, explore. and thrive.

Future Plans Our aims for 2026 are to support partner charities by tontsibuting towards travel-related expenses for teachers volunteerin8 overseas. Where approprlate, the Trustees may also COflSKler contributing towards other costs incurred by teachers on lon8 tem) placements. All requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Volunteer teachers will be required to provide written and photographic eviden￿ of their placement. and partner charltles wlll submit an impatt statement at the end of each placement. Publlc Benefit The Trustees confirm that they have coMpr￿d wrth their duty to have due re8ard to the Charity Commission's guldance on public benefrt in exercising their power5 and duties. The public benefit of the Charity's actmties is to advance education and relieve the need5 of refugee children and young people up to the age of 18. lfvlng in the UK and overseas. This is achieved by developing their skills. capacities, and capabilltles through regular educational arthit*s, enabllng them to participate in Society as independent, mature, and responslbie Irrfllvlduals. Strurture, Governance and Management Futu￿ Academy UK was registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation ICIOI with the Charity Commission in August 2020 and is 8overned by the Charity Commisslon's Foundation Model Constitution. The charity Is overseen by a Board of fNe Tnths, all of whom are the original Trustees and have been reappointed to seNe addltlonal three-year tern￿ in aC£Ordan￿ with the Governing Document. The Trustees brlng a broad and complementary ran8e of professional skills and experience. Three Trustees serrfe as key Offi￿rS and are resp)nsible for the day-l04ay management of the charity. The Trustees consider the recrultment of new Trustees as the need arlse5, 8ulded by the identlficatlon of skllls gaps wtthin the Board. Recrultment may include seeklng recommendatkjns or advertislng in appropriate publications. Prospective Trustees are provided with an information pack outlining the charltvs history, structure, actlvltles. objecttves. and the roles and expertations of Trustees. All new Trustees receive copie5 of the Governln8 Document aNI the most recent annual report and accounts. The Board meets a5 Qften as netessary and, in line with the Governing Document, meetlngs may be held electronlcalty. The quorum for meetings is ts¥o Trustees. The Board reviews all policies and the charivs rlsk reglster annually. Flnanclal Overvlew Income During the year, Future Academy UK re￿IVed total income of £10,746. All income comprlsed voluntary donations from Trustees and sUPPOrters, including workplace 8Mng. Funds At the year end. the charity held totsl funds of £10.040. This included E4.984 in restricted funds designated to support volunteer5 at our main partr￿r charity, Future Academy. and £S,056 in unre5trirted funds. Of the unrestrlcted funds. £1.6(Kl was allocated for planned actlvltles leavln8 £3,456 as free ￿Se￿ie5. Govem•n¢e arKI Management Future Academy UK has no paid staff, and all govemance fvnrtions are carried out on a voluntary basi5. Trustees do not receive remuneration.
