Trustees Mr. Louis-James Davis Mr. Michael Marchant Mr. Robert Capewell Secretary M. J. Marchant Actvity The trustees have concentrated their attention in three distinct areas over the past year: (a) continuous observation of charitable organisations with complementary objects/interests, establishing relevant dialogues to improve understanding of their activities and the scope for collaboration;
(b) engagement with selected public bodies with a view to development of nonprofit partnership frameworks with a potential appeal to private or commercial sponsors not currently active in their support of charitable activities; (c) improvement of the charity’s communications with diverse parties (notably under (a) and (c) above, including prospective benefactors) to increase awareness of the charity and the prospect of supported collaboration.
The combination of active observation, engagement and communication has generated a number of potent relationships which the trustees hope will lead to collaborative measures that meet the trustees’ commitment to undertake charitable activities that do not disturb the flow of funds and support to other charities.
Finance The Trustees again used personal funds to meet the costs associated with the charity’s activities. No income or reportable expenditure occurred in the year.
