| Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document |
Para 1.17 | The object of Orange Street Covenant Church (OSCC) is the advance of the Christian Faith as stated under the Charitable Objects, in accordance with our Statement of Faith, summarised as follows:- 1.We believe the Bible, as given in the original tongues, is the inspired and true Word of the Living God. 2.There is one God revealed as the Father, in his Son Jesus Christ, and by his Holy Spirit. 3. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God manifest in the flesh, the Redeemer of Israel, and personal Saviour of all mankind. 4.Salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, his death on the cross, and his resurrection, in accordance with the teaching of the Apostles. 5.The Full Gospel of the Kingdom of God, and its personal, prophetic, national and global message. We confess Jesus Christ as Saviour, Healer, Baptiser and Coming King of all Israel, and all the families of the earth. This accords with the command given by the Apostles to Israel, and all mankind ─ Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39. |
