- Our Aims and Objectives

Our charity's main purpose was to help those who struggle to visit public attractions and make a cost eective use to all. Children during the pandemic of Covid 19 struggled a lot with isolation and visiting attractions. Our aim was to help as many families as possibly during dicult times pending on funding.

The aim of I.M.M.E was to get set up as it was our rst year, evaluate the situation of others during Covid 19 and make a plan to help individuals ( general public ) to promote better mental health during isolation periods. These aims also set up I.M.M.E to go further to help others who struggle to visit locations due to their disability stopping them.

Main Focus of our Work -

The selected trustees had a meeting in July 2020 ( Via Online ) preparing our goals and objectives so we were all set for when we got our status as a charity.Once we got our status in August 2020 our rst objective was to secure funding through grants. We set out to help others who nd it hard to visit locations due to their disabilities that prevent them from going, however we set up a charity in the middle of a pandemic and before we got our charity status we already had

acquired some sensory therapy locations we premade to use in the charity. We had a meeting and as a charity it still tted in our objectives which was ;

( The objects / Purpose For the public benefit, to relieve the needs of children or adults affected by learning disabilities, or by poor physical or mental health affecting their mobility and access to public spaces and facilities, by developing and making available to the public simple, low cost virtual reality tools and productions.’ )

With the pandemic children's mental health was aected for not being able to visit public spaces, so our main focus was to help children in isolation because all schools were closed and we could provide families a tool to provide virtual reality to children within their homes.

The structure we used to achieve these objectives ;

  - Develop a easy to use tool for the public to use

How we operate -

Imme has 4 trustees all with a specic skill set. It is managed by Craig chaytor who overlooks the function of Imme. We all have a duration to be part of Imme once a term is up we hold a meeting to discuss if the individual would like to retain his position and extend their time or end it and move on. If any trustee wants to move on we would hold a recorded meeting to discuss their contribution to a great cause and their exit. Afterwards the remaining trustees would hold an additional meeting to discuss how we will replace the individual by recommendations to speak with additional charities to seek a new trustee. We would hold interviews and discuss if it was the right move for them.

We also work with a great little team of volunteers who have helped set up Imme and contribute to a great cause during a dicult time.

- How our activities deliver public benet

All our charitable activities focus is to help others by providing individuals a tool to educate, provide therapy and to visit public spaces in the comfort of their own home. All the activities are to further our charitable purposes for the public benet.

The general public, Families, NHS all beneted from I.M.M.E. and it is an everlasting tool so they can reuse the service over and over again. We approximately helped over 10000 + families during dicult times.

Overall Review -

I.M.M.E was created to help deliver a tool to help individuals and we exceeded in our mission by adapting and helping many families during a dicult time of Covid 19.

We set up our charity and focused straight on the mission. We occurred volunteers to help get our charity up and running within a short space of time and succeeded in helping others. Covid 19 is still with us to this day and during the peak we reached out to families using social media and word soon spread about us helping families. We adapted, we met the challenge , we focused and the outcome was amazing to see.

We were all aware of the dangers during the pandemic and we all adhere to the rules the government provided. Using some of the Grant money we acquired we purchased P.P.E to protect us and others involved in IMME. We also took regular Lateral Flow tests to make sure we were all safe and well and to proceed working on IMME. Cleaning facilities were also obtained to help prevent cross

contamination.

Imme provided a service and tool that included :

● Interactive Story book for Virtual reality

● Toys

● Pencils & coloring pencils

● Sharpeners

● Treats and sweets

● Build your own Virtual reality headset

● Coloring books

● Stickers

● Paid postage

● Paid delivery

In our rst year we lmed & created all our own stories for the children. Printed them into books, provided them with gifts and treats , all delivered to their door free of charge to give something back to families. Our mission to help others and bring joy and happiness was a success.

IMME used the grant money as stated when applied for to help set up and resource materials and equipment. As this was our rst year and a huge ambition to help a lot of people we used the money to establish a functioning Charity to provide the tools we needed. No SALES were taken from any member of the public as the grant money was to help the public as well. With the strain of the pandemic and families on Furlough we deemed it unfair to charge for a Product / service when families were struggling to provide for their family. We wanted to give something back.

Future proposal & ending Statement ?

I.M.M.E had a successful rst year, the general public soon acknowledged the contribution in our work we create to give back to others. The trustees and volunteers all worked really hard during very dicult times and we all couldn’t be any more prouder. We brought joy and happiness to those in dark times, we helped the NHS by providing them with packs to help children in dicult times.

I.M.M.E carried on using the grant money to produce even more packs for children which made our future strong within our community because what we were doing was making a dierence. For future proposals we are going to carry on what we are doing because why change something that has a huge impact on others already .

After a meeting within the trustees we are going to apply for more funding So we can make it bigger and market it so we reach other councils across the country so we can work with them to provide access for children within their community. We are in talks with the NHS and Department of education to source how it can be used within their organization also.

As you can imagine, all that takes time. Covid has slowed us down but we haven’t stopped. Now that the country is slowly going back to normal we’ll be able to do more with IMME to help even more children.

IMME was created to help others, help change a life, bring joy and happiness to those with mental health problems, and make education fun by giving them access to things they can’t visit. IMME achieved all of the above because there is nothing better than seeing a child with a smile on their face.

It’s been a wonderful rst year and we're very excited to see how the future years turn out.

Thank you

Craig Chaytor ( Chair of I.M.M.E )
