During the year the charity has continued to negottate wtth BimiinBham City Council to enable the
development of faciltties Wlthin the park. atthough this has become more difficult because of the
financial problems of the Council. We have again promoted a wariety of sporting and leisure activities
in the park. Our longer-temi plans continue to develop, but the plans announced by the Environment
Agency for flood relief measures to be installed in the park could have a grave effect on the viability
of any future facilities, and we are in contatt with the Agency to expres5 our concerns and to
encourage it to investigate altemative strategres.
Governance
The Trustees meet regularly to review the plans. polioes. and artions of the chartty- Trustees report
to the annual meeting of the Friends of Manor Farni Park to keep stakeholders UFFtO-date with the
activities of the charty- There is a mernorandum of understanding with the Friends to separate the
social activities of the Friends and the Twsvs operat￿n
Public interest
