-Sense of ownership: Students that were normally given hand me down uniforms could now boast of their own uniforms through SOFA’s school uniform sponsorship program -Disability Inclusion: Discussion with the families of the only two children in the village living with a disability to reassure them that if they accept, SOFA will want to be a part of their journeys encouraging them every step of the way. SOFA provides cooking ingredients every quarter to the families and is in regular contact with the headteacher of their school for progress report (with permission from their respective families) Development through Imagination: Toys provided help the children think beyond their village and also teaches them the importance of sharing. The school can now pass the toys down to different generation of kidergateners |

Notes to the accounts

Gifts of goods: Clothes were donated by family and friends. SOFA sorted out the clothes into wearables and non-wearables. Wearables were washed and shipped to the Northern part of Ghana and then distributed amongst the people of Namoalogo. Toys donated were in good conditions so were shipped in one barrel together with the clothes and donated to the kindergarteners at Namoalogo school. Non-wearables were disposed off
