ecclesiastical parish and is responsible
for the maintenance of the Church and
Churchyard at Berwlck St John

Church In Ihe parish of BeThvick St John.
As before, Services are held on at least 3
Sundays overy

We are extremely fortunate tha( wfth the

Chrfstlan Festivals of Chrlstmas and
Easter.
Apart from the regular Church Services.
we held a choral Benefice EucharfsL an
animal Servlce and our Hatvest Festival.
The Craft mornings in Advent and Holy
Week, supported. By the PCC, were very
successful.
The Fele. agaln held at Upton Lucy by the
kind pernilssion of Bob and Margaret
Montgomery, produced a much needed
surplus of £10,818 for Church Funds, an
Increase of £3,123 from last year.
The Church contlnues to be supported
by the vlllage, with regular teams of
cleaners flower arrangers and bell
ringers.
The chu￿hYard continues to benefft
from use of the income arlsing on the
restricted Guwy Funds. During the year
have continued wfth ropairs to
gravestones and monuments In the
Churchyard. A second wtldfiower area Is
being established in the eastem end of
tho churchyard.
