Christian Foslivals of Christmas and Easter. Apart from the regular Church Services, we held a Lantern Parade and Carol Singing everrt around the village led by Romulus Percheron and accompaniod by the Shaftesbury Sllver Band, and ending with refreshments at the Cross kindty provided by the Talbot. The PCC supported two Craft and Coffeo momlngs in Holy Week and December. The Fete, agaln held at Upton Lucy by the kind pennisslon of Bob and Margaret Montgomery, produced a much neodod surplus of £7.695 for Church Funds. Although a drop of £1,779 from last year this was a remarkable result In vlew of the bad ￿ther. The two brass Aftar Candlesticks have been beauufulty repalred. as have the Prayer Books used by the Congregatlon. We owe much to Yvonne Follott for S￿Ing through these two projects. The Churchyard contlnues to benefft from use of tho income arising on the restricted Guwy Funds. During the year we have contlnued wlth repalrs to gravèstones and monuments in the Churchyard. A wlldfi¢)wer area is belng established In the north western Comer of the Churchyard. and we hoy to extend this.
